Technical management of architectural projection

In December 2007 Bristol’s city centre underwent a magical transformation as a group of leading designers, artists and filmmakers joined together to create Light Up Bristol, a spectacular light and moving image show. Using 6 of the world’s most powerful video projectors the Council House and Bristol Cathedral were turned into massive canvasses as the whole area was transformed into a Winter Wonderland. The video documents the event.

For the December 2006 event static analogue images were projected 400ft
by 7 Hardware Xenon projectors. The photos below show 2006.
